Source for ammo in So Cal?

Where in So Cal do you get your ammo? Money is tight so I'm trying to shop around... Looking primarily for 9mm and .223.

All three Wally Worlds by me were duds (El Monte, Crenshaw, Gardena). How are Ammo Bros. prices?

I buy all my pistol ammo at Walmart (UMC bulkpacks of 40sw).....I reload 45 colt myself. I mailorder all my rifle ammo that I don't reload. Try AIM surplus for rifle ammo.

I didn't even know there was a Wally World in El Monte. But since you're in the area, I know that the one in Monrovia (Huntington Drive and Mountain) carries ammo. I'd personally just buy it online.

$175/1000 on 223 for their reloads, I remember paying once.
$105/500 on 223 for new ammo, I also paid once.

If you're in San Diego, American Shooting Center has not-too-horrible prices on Federal 223.

You listed new ammo. What brand/surplus was that or was it just a new-manufacture house brand?

The stuff I bought was new-manufacture in-house. Sorry, should've specified.

Ammo Bros in Cerritos/Paramount has $12.99 (per 100) for their Reloaded Ammunition and they sell reloading materials.

They are sometimes willing to bargain if you buy A LOT.

                +1 for Ammobros

I recently purchased .45ACP reloads there. 500 for like $95.00 or something like that. They all went throught the Sig 220 perfectly.

I'm starting to purchase most of my HD ammo on line now. I just got an order from Double Tap. 500 GDHP 230gr for something like $220.00. Buying in bulk helps.

Another plus for Ammo Bros. Otherwise, it's online! Just can't get enough from Century.

they already carry OLLs and can/will handle FFL transfers for longarms. last i heard, they're still trying to qualify for the HSC in order to be a dealer for handguns.

rumor has it that their adjacent neighbor's lease has run out, and will be vacating. ABros has intent to take over that space and increase their showroom size...that will be nice.
