be careful with drawers under the benches, yes you need some but leave some space for your knees. My first bench was solid drawers under the workbench top and I either could smack my knees or work standing up. My new bench has no drawers but a shelf that is recessed back so I can sit.

My current bench I welded up, but my press bench is wood. Both have 1 1/2" tops made of 2 sheets of 3/4 plywood.

Plenty of lighting and you are good to go.
