    300aac Chrono results

I have been reloading for some time now (223, 9mm, 40s&w) and added 300aac to my arsenal. I had plenty of un-usable 556/223 brass laying around and decided to sort out the LC brass and cut them down. I use a Redding T-7 for my rifle rounds and Lee Turret for hand gun rounds. Both have Lee powder measures. I have a mix bag of Lee and RCBS dies.

To sum it up, here is what I utilized for 300aac -

    Speer TNT 125gr HP
    H110 18gr (sometimes powder throw was 18.1)
LC 556/223 brass cut to 300aac specs
    Final Length: 2.06-2.055

BCM 16" 1:7 twist carbine length gas system w/VG6 muzzle device
    Spikes T-2 buffer

I shot 20 rounds (i thought it would reset after 10 rounds) using Competition Electronics Pro Chrono approximately 4-5ft away from shooting bench:

    ES=136, SD=32, AU=2184

    FPS:
    1. 2157
    2. 2182
    3. 2185
    4. 2182
    5. 2218
    6. 2192
    7. 2133
    8. 2203
    9. 2164
    10. 2093
    11. 2207
    12. 2192
    13. 2225
    14. 2200
    15. 2222
    16. 2178
    17. 2196
    18. 2229
    19. 2175
    20. 2164

Didnt really concentrate on grouping. I'll do that tomorrow. Will do 100yrds with a Vortex 3x behind a Trijicon MRO. Eyes arent that great anymore.

The 300 Whisper AAC or Blackout doesn't tend to have low extreme spreads.
I mainly run mine subsonic with 240's but I do remember it not shooting groups smaller than a inch with regularity.

Why subsonic if you can't use a silencer? Sierra has data up to 1350 fps. 230's are even better, up to 1500.

I am running the 240's at close range for deer and the area needs a quiet load. Without a can the load is still pretty quiet and groups well but the trajectory is not very good.

208 gr Hornady, over H110 approx. 1200 fps out of a Remington model 7/AAC collaboration rifle. Super fun rifle. This is at 50 yards since the 100 was down.
