I have been reloading for some time now (223, 9mm, 40s&w) and added 300aac to my arsenal. I had plenty of un-usable 556/223 brass laying around and decided to sort out the LC brass and cut them down. I use a Redding T-7 for my rifle rounds and Lee Turret for hand gun rounds. Both have Lee powder measures. I have a mix bag of Lee and RCBS dies.
To sum it up, here is what I utilized for 300aac -
Speer TNT 125gr HP
H110 18gr (sometimes powder throw was 18.1)
LC 556/223 brass cut to 300aac specs
Final Length: 2.06-2.055
BCM 16" 1:7 twist carbine length gas system w/VG6 muzzle device
Spikes T-2 buffer
I shot 20 rounds (i thought it would reset after 10 rounds) using Competition Electronics Pro Chrono approximately 4-5ft away from shooting bench:
ES=136, SD=32, AU=2184
FPS:
1. 2157
2. 2182
3. 2185
4. 2182
5. 2218
6. 2192
