    Norma brass

Picked up some new Norma 7mag brass and started pushing Remington 9 1/2 mag primers and they just don't seem to seat as deep as other brands. They seem to be about flush or just slightly deeper. I use lapua and RP brass and the Norma seem to be just a little different.

    Is this common with norma?

large rifle primer dimensions - https://www.accurateshooter.com/tech...sure-analysis/

Some primers have a taller primer cup height so they could stick out on certain brands of brass.

Yeah, you have to square the pockets

Another brass that's like that is PPU, square the pockets and give the lip of the primer pocket a slight bevel.
