Aguila 308 WIN 150 grain bt ammo problems

Hi All

I bought some aguila 308 WIN 150 grain bt ammo and went out to the range this weekend. Was getting a average of 4 duds per box of 20 rounds. I thought maybe it was my rifle (lite primer strikes) but I had 3x 308 rifles with me and every rifle did it. 1 was a RPR gen 2 with bolt update done, 1 was a Winchester M70 and last was a new Remington 783.

The primer strikes all look good on the ones that fired and the ones that didn't fire.
Has anyone else ran into this? Bad batch of ammo? The ammo is all from the same batch. Can post batch number if needed.
I even tried to refire some of the duds with no luck

I know this is not great ammo, but that is a huge failure rate

Let them know of your problems and lot number. Don't know if they will do any anything, but worth a try.

Aguila ammo is made in a French Factory near Paris called, 'Fer-shet'.

Deep Six whatever you have left and chalk it up to a learning experience.

I contacted Aguila and really didn't expect much. I received a email back promptly from a customer service rep. Asking for specific information (lot number, date of purchase, how many failures ect)
I sent them all the information they asked for and was told they would look into it and get back to me. Again I wasn't expecting much.

Well today I received a email saying they will be replacing the full case of ammo. They also asked that if I had any of the duds or any unused ammo to please ship it back after receiving my replacement ammo.

They may not be "top of the line ammo", but they stand behind their product!
That's more than I can say for other companies.

did you buy the ammo in bulk fairly recently?
what was the lot#?

i got a couple 20rd boxes on sale recently at turner's, just to try out.
1618730 is the only thing i found that looks like a lot#
