My local Walmart still has a case full of ammo, but as of 7/30/2019 it is locked up and there is a sign on the case stating they can't sell ammo because of system issues. A week or two ago, one of the staff told me their printer wasn't working.
Is this affecting all of the Walmarts in California, or am i just lucky to live by the one that is unable to work it out? Its a whole month now since the new ammo sale law went into effect, you would think they would have their stuff up and running by now.
Sure Walmart sells a lot of cheap crap, but they have been a pretty reliable source of 9mm for about $0.17/round plus tax, so it has been a convenient source of ammo for practice and recreational shooting.
