Never used Redding before. Would these do me well in reloading for an AR platform? Or should I get small base?

Redding are high end dies for making quality ammunition. I use them for my match rifles.
You can buy the same dies at Midsouth for $100

I love the Redding dies. I have quite a few sets. However I only really use them on bolt guns. It doesn't say that the sizer uses a bushing in the neck so it's just a standard sizer I would guess and you are paying for the Micrometer. The Micrometer is nice for making adjustments quick but with an AR platform I don't think you'll be making a ton of adjustments. Also when it comes to Micrometer dies I prefer the Forster over Redding.Originally posted by ar15barrelsSo you are throwing out 95% of reality to select the 5% of reality where you are actually right?
