Mail order ammo to LA

I've seen some threads talking about how many online ammo sellers won't ship to los angeles county but the threads were a bit old and I was wondering if this still holds true.

I just back ordered ammo from Cabela's today. I couldn't find any mention of delivery restrictions and I received confirmation of my order to la county. I'm sick of going to my local walmart and hearing that they got a shipment 2 hours ago and that it's all gone.

Also, if you live in a community within Los Angeles City limits that has a community designation other than "Los Angeles" (e.g.- West Hills) they will more often than not still ship to you.

I typed in for LA, CA and it gave me this list fro 90001 to 90101, then a few unique numbers above that to companies or what appear to be American Indian Reservations.

Would it be accurate to assume all those listed are for actual "Los Angeles" or would those include suburbs of LA?

Some vendors will not ship to LA COUNTY, regardless of the law. Midway is one, Sportsman's Warehouse is another. They both refuse to ship to Covina which is not even remotely LA CITY but is in the COUNTY.

Midway ships ammo to me all of the time in West Hollywood which is dead in the middle of LA County. Well, they used to before I started reloading a month ago
