    DIY Tools

I use an empty cut up Japanese peanut container to catch my casings when I deprime. Anyone else have some tools that were DIY or not their original intended use?

How much (approx.) would it cost in filament to print out parts like that? Designing and printing your own parts seems like fun.

I made a tumbler with an old drill press motor and 6” pvc pipe. Don’t remember the pulley ratio I went with but it works really well. Thinking about adding another pulley to run a trimmer off of but haven’t gotten around to that yet.

I took a miter saw stand and bolted a boat winch to it to make a draw board (archery related).
Then used a trailer jack to make a bow press. The adjustable fingers I made from 3/4" thick angle and square tube, all aluminum.
Added a vise on the end made from 1" aluminum round bar.
