Try reducing how much flare you are putting into the mouths of the cases.

This same thing happens on my Lee expander die if I try to flare the case mouth too much.

By wet cleaning the cases, you've removed the natural dry lube (soot) and you now have the expander section without lube binding to the brass.
            1) Stop wet cleaning and simply tumble so the outside is clean
            2) Dip the case mouth in graphite dry lube
            3) Polish and wax the expander plug.
I have never seen that case mouth flaring has any effect on the problem--it has always been the expander section.

I love & recommend Dillion for experienced Reloaders.

If the OP has plenty of experience before this happened, well, there is always
something new to learn for everyone, including & especially me.

So please allow me to ask...Would the OP have experienced this problem using a single stage Press?
Machines neither provide skill, nor do machines provide the thinking for you, got that.

None the less, what say the other Reloader here?

hy is it very hard to get expander and powder funnel back out of case?
There are two situations that create this problem. The first is one we have just recently identified. It seems to be associated with the dillon powder funnel and only a couple of calibers (45 Auto and 40 S&W). The land for expanding case mouth is too long and when you begin to bell mouth the bottom of expander gets into the thicker taper of case and wedges causing it to be very hard to get back out. We have modified several by increasing radius on end and slightly shortening expanding land and this eliminated the problem completely. Call Starline and we will take care of it if you wish. One other cause can be a burr at case mouth created by the final trim operation, which grabs onto expander as it comes back up. This situation does not often appear and can be fixed by deburring case mouth or inside lubing cases.
Is trimming handgun brass necessary? Why
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

I throw all my cleaned pistol brass in large Ziploc bag, a couple of shots of One Shot, shake well, pour in case feeder and crank away.

You might have brass deposited onto the expander by galling. If you can find someway to polish the expander and get a little lube on it every once in a while it will go way smoother.
