In a letter dated December 28th 2005 Deputy Attorney General Alison Merrilees stated:

Here was my first batch of self-made 45ACP, hot off the press:
200 grain LSWC, 5.2 grains Winchester 231, OAL = 1.255", taper crimp = .47" at case mouth
So far I've put about 300 of these (+ some with 5.0 grains of powder) through my 1911, which seems to like them.Comment
