I would just use RCBS dies.

For magnum powders may I suggest H110, 2400, Unique and IMR 4227.

For specials I would use H110, 2400, Unique, and IMR 4227.

It all depends on what you are going to do, and how hot you want your loads to be.

    Take care

Have loaded the Keith 44 mag load of 22gr of 2400 for over 30 years. Yes with a 240gr Keith bullet

Keith load and don't look back.

I use his load with my 265 gr Keith bullet in my Ruger RedHawk but reduce to 15 grains in the .44 Spl. It's my go to .44 spl load for lots of things. I switch to my 300 gr 44 mag loads in Grizzly country, gun of last resort for a bear fight.

I hate cleaning lead out of revolver barrels... I would load with 2400 and keep cast loads to a slower speed to avoid the crazy cleaning....

Friends cast and used Gas Checs and turned up the velocity...

I have not yet tried powder coating but it seems like the 44 could benefit from that process

Haven’t tried 2400, hard to find a year ago.

For magnum magnums, I like win 296.

Medium magnums, cfe pistol or universal.

Most pistol powders work in 44 spl, maybe even red dot.

In lever actions I’ve tried heavier rounds, cast 255gr-270gr, because of their length, a 44 spl case is the only way to run em’

RCBS dies with the Lee Factory Crimp Die works for me... Single stage or progressive.. 10.5 grs of Unique and a 200 or 240 gr plated bullet is a light mag load... Fun to shoot ,, not punishing... I only use mag primers in my 44 mag loads,, no matter what powder is used... Cold weather performance-reliability my goal...
                          Cheers...

Thinking about the die part of your question and I think I would use Redding dies and the Lee factory crimp die for any cartridge that needs a crimp. There are better dies for some applications but for general use I believe I see a higher quality more constant product in the Redding, I have seen first hand to many times issues with the later RCBS. Enough I wont buy any more of them unless there is no Redding available and I would rather wait a reasonable time for the Redding. One of the issues that seems to be a regular with RCBS is very rough necks, they scratch the necks so bad the dies have to be polished out, sometimes that takes to much metal out of the die.HTH

I load 44mag using H110 and ACME coated 240gr Keith style bullets. I dont recall the exact load data but can get to it this evening. They are definitely on the MAGNUM end of the spectrum.

I also load 200gr bullets in magnum brass for my "44 special" loads. For this, I use a much lighter charge of bullseye. All with Dillon dies on a 550 press
