Yep, Giraud. I use it on, .204 Ruger, 223, 300 BlkOut, 308 and 6.5 Grendel.
No regrets except sore thumbs once in a while.

So did you custom order the 6.5 Grendel Giraud trimmer?

Damn, Lynn. How long until you'd shoot through all of those?

How is a Giraud supposed to work on trimming a black plastic pick-up bed liner?

                    Doug Grendel conversion in stock

I have separate cutting head for each caliber, so only takes me a couple of minutes to switch over for trimming a different cartridge.

                    Here is a link to trimmer cutter conversions;

Also have his case anealer, another great product.

i think there is some confusion over the giraud power trimmer and the giraud tri-way trimmer (attaches to drill).

the power trimmer is a stand alone unit and has cutting heads for the vast majority of cartridges (including 6.5 creedmore).

the tri-way trimmer attaches to a drill and giraud only has units for the more popular cartridges (no 6.5 creedmore)

So where the heck can I buy a Tri-way for 6.5 Creedmoor and 6.5 Grendel?

I recently picked up the world's cheapest trimmer for .223, and it does well.

Better than the Lee manual trimmer with the lock stud...

Lyman came out with a new trimmer just recently. I order one from amazon for around 125 bucks. Works great.

OP, for your needs, IMO get the WFT and be done.

I have a lathe type trimmer because it's universal. I can trim anything, easily, and it's "good enough".

For precision cartridges, I use the WFT for brass quantities up to 500 pieces. Better precision, and MUCH faster. But I'm not gearing up with a WFT for everything I shoot when the RCBS lathe is good enough for <1000 yard shooting (and probably over, but we all go overkill sometimes..).

If I shot more than 1000 piece of brass in my batches, I might look at a giraud. But for 1000 and below, WFT does me great.

For your creedmoor and rem mag, I think WFT is the right answer.

                                Dillon Rapid Trim 1500.

You're in luck, there are dies for 6.5 Creedmoor and 7mm Remington Magnum.
