They showed that that particular powder doesn't change, that doesn't prove that no powder can change.

I found these on my first googling, took just a few seconds.

One of our readers asked: Is it OK to clean live, loaded ammo in a vibratory tumbler? The basic answer is NO, do NOT tumble live ammo in a vibratory tumbler. There are serious potential safety hazards that can result from tumbling live ammo.

These are pretty much trapdoor loads being put through a brand new 1895 so not too worried about the powder

Lot of conflicting opinions in that thread. Here is what caught my attention:

"Tests run some years ago by a commercial entity did indicate that potentially dangerous changes in powder charge burning characteristics do take place after PROLONGED periods in either a vibratory or a tumbling cleaner.

The key word here is prolonged. "

          IDK what defines "prolonged".

They stated that a couple minutes was deemed safe so any more than that could constitute prolonged. Whether or not something happens at 5 minutes or 5 days is unknown.

The first couple sentances tell me that vibratory tumbling with this brand powder, or any other with the same properties, is a crap shoot. https://www.vihtavuori.com/tech-blog...-grain-shapes/

Yeah, because of it's geometry I thought n110 was an odd powder for that test to begin with.
Additionally vita vouri doesn't even have any load data for 405 gr .45-70 projectiles.

Need more info from OP to assess that risk.
