I use 110gn .308 bullets in my CZ52 because my bore slugs .309. I checked 3 different CZ52 barrels and they all slugged .309.

My TTC on the other hand slugs .312, so I load with .312 bullets. The TTC groups better with .312 than .308.

Starline tokarev brass is cut really short. I measured my batch at .963; the max allowable case length for 7.62x25 is .984. I doubt that I'll ever need to trim the brass.

a few might use .308 but generally; ammo makers use .308 but tokarev barrels are usually bigger (.310 / .311).

If you get it done in 1 minute is it still ghetto?

My m57 didn't like .308 bullets at all. Dirty chamber after 20-30 rounds to a point of brass sticking and wont eject. My guess is not enough brass expansion to seal off a chamber with a 308. Lots of other issues. Finally found this company. I use 309 diameter bullets with good results. https://www.pennbullets.com/30/30-caliber.html
Do you go to angeles range? I can give you 15-20 .309 bullets to try.

I bought some strange jacketed HP bullets for cheap at a GS some time back.
93 grains... and .311 diameter. Just checked.
So if .308s shoot like sheet, hang in there and look for the .311s.
Box is half-full, ~60 bullets. All for 2 bucks. Can't pass up a deal like that even if you don't reload for them yet.

                          Slug the barrel.
                          Order cast bullets to fit.
