I originally posted this up on the Hide but did not have much luck so I thought I might try here as well.

Tried to search the topic but only pull up pages on barrel blanks or using brass from blanks to load regular ammo. Anyway, my father passed away last month and as he was a Korean War veteran, he was given military honors. I would like to clean and reload these so that I can use the same ones for my eventual ceremony. While I have reloaded for decades, I have never loaded blanks and I am unable to find any accurate information as load data ranges from a very light load to filling the case all the way to the top. Anyone out there have any experience with doing this type of loading? I have the crimp die from CH4D but load data seems difficult to obtain.

Thanks for the info. I also just watched a video posted on YouTube from a WWII reenactor that was loading up some 30-06 blanks and he was using 12 grains of Red Dot. I will work up some test loads on some other brass before I do the final loads on these others. Again, thanks for the additional info...
