What ammo is this? Guy at the store said it was Port.

It's portugese surplus 7.62x51 ie .308. It's berdan primed so keep it away from me.

Haha thats what I was thinking, it's Argentine(ian) surplus. I believe its just like most surplus, berdan primed and non corrosive.

Correction- looking at the third picture you have 3 different cartridges. FLB= Argentina, FN= Belgian, and the last looks like it could be Spanish or Isrealian, not sure though.

I don't remember where I read this but I recall information that claimed that Argentina had a contract to make ammo for Portugal at one time, in the '60s or '70s. I could be wrong, I've been wrong before

They speak portugese in Argentina. The guy at the gun store said it was Port(ugese). Looks like the Port I have shot. Probably just manufactured in Argentina. Lots of countries shoot FAL's.
