    NOSLER COMPETITION MATCH BULLETS...

Anyone have any experience with these. I'm a fan of Nosler's Accubonds and other hunting bullets, but i've had little experience with their match-type bullets. Maybe as an alternative to the coveted SMKs.

My experiences with NCC (Nosler Custom Competition) is with their 77gr HPBT, 168gr HPBT and 175gr HPBT.

These 3 (and with many NCCs) are exact "copies" of SMKs.

They use the same load data, and same ballistic.

The more mature ones 77NCC and 168NCC seems to be a good alternative to 77SMK and 168SMK... the 175NCC are very new, I found some "quality" issue with them... and I hope that they will fix it in their next batch.... in general, with my experience, NCC's QA is not as good as SMK's. eg. 77NCC got some tumbling media stuck in its HP, 168NCC got some tarnish on their surface etc...

The bottomline is, in my personal experience, they are not as good as SMKs, but they are close... and they are a LOT cheaper.... so... if u want THE BEST, stick with SMKs, if you want some cheaper practice bullets... NCCs are ok...
