    Off the shelf Defense rounds

Just curious is this the forum for the above topic? Or is this primarily for reloading?

I'll ask and if I'm in the wrong forum just let me know. I'm curious about the Remmington Ultimate Defense rounds. I've seen two tests into Gelatin at 10 feet, and both tests (unrelated) the bullet never expanded. The hollow point just fills with denim. However, some people swear by them. I like the idea of a round made just for a sub compact assuming it works. Anyone have any experience with these? Generally, my fav. rounds are Hornady and Federal.

I have no experience with that round, but there are numerous short-barrel specific options out there.
For example, Hornady's critical duty line is for full size, while their critical defense line uses a powder "optimized" (their word) for shorter barrels.
Also, the polymer plug in the HP cavity is supposed to prevent the issue with denim plugging the cavity and stopping it from expanding.

I don't understand. Is he being forced out for being an ammo-grabbing fascist or for being a failure as an ammo-grabbing fascist?
