Looking to start loading 10mm auto

Your Longshot and Blue Dot will work just fine with 10mm 180gr loads. I've used them both and I got good results.

My favorite load out of a Delta Elite is 12.5gr AA9, Win LP primers, Zero Brand 180 JHP seated to 1.260" That load is safe for my gun, but I make no claims for anyone elses gun, so start low and work up from published data. It chronos 5' from my muzzle at 1184 fps. Plenty of power for me.

I use a lot of Alliant powder for my pistol reloading. So it is Blue Dot for my moderate and fast 10MM loading. I've gotten good results with it.

G29, G20(long slide, 6" barrel mod), Kimber Eclipse 1911 10mm.
hope to add SW610 or new Ruger Match 10mm which is on the roster now.

I prefer Barrys 155 grain hollow base bullets with 6.4 grains of Win 231. Been very happy with that set up

I use Accurat #7 at 7.1gr using extreme bullets 124g. Same pistol as you,

First batch I loaded 7.3, 7.1, 6.9, 6.7 6.5.

7.1 had the best group.

124gr in 10mm? What's that chrono at? 1800fps?

I bought 500rds of new 10mm ammo a few years back and have finally shot it all. Unfortunately it is A USA brass which I read that people are saying that the primer pockets are too shallow. I’ll try some here in a few weeks to see how it goes. If it’s trash I’ll just buy some starline brass and be done. I have a few thousand 180gr HST pull downs that I plan on using along with some plated 180gr flat nose bullets. I have a 8lb jug of longshot and a few single pounds of blue dot and power pistol.

I like 10.5 blue dot 180 with gold dots. G20, 6 inch kkm barrel.
Ymmv. Its a full load at 11.0.

550? So all you need is a set of #3 pins I think for the shell plate. You save alot reloading 10. And its nice to shoot full load vs watered down factory.

Longshot is awesome powder for 10mm.

Plated may not be so good depending on the brand. I tried Xtreme 180gr and it was terrible. My 180gr load was going bout 1250fps out of a 5" 2011. I have tried Xtreme plated in 44 Mag and it was terrible as well. I emailed and asked about velocity and they said performance suffers above 1100fps. I have Berry's for magums and they're awesome. A plated bullet that says on the box good for 2000fps. Just a heads up on my experience.
