Nothing wrong with trimming all of your brass to one length then doing the inside and outside chamfering in a second step. You can put some oooo steel wool in a bowl of alcohol and run it over the necks after all the trimming and chamfering is done.
    It really keeps things smooth.

That's what I'm doing now. Started with about 1,000 .223 cases that were trimmed with the Lee Power Trim and used a hand held chamfering and deburring tool on them. It's slow, tedious and hard on the hands and the wrist. I managed to do 200 yesterday and 150 on Friday so I have enough to load for the moment.

The real problem is, like everyone else when it comes to prepping brass I'm lazy and impatient. If I can combine three tedious steps into one tedious step, so much the better.

I hope your recovery is coming along well.

Get a Lee case spinner and Chuck them up. Every time a commercial comes on the TV spin one case in your cordless drill and inside and outside chamfer then run the steel wool over the neck. It is much faster and smoother with a case spinner.
