I just finished my run of 500S&W loads last week. I'm now sitting on just over 700 rounds loaded. Using Hornady 350 grain XTPs I can load them for just under $1 a round.

Beowulf runs about the same, I use the same powder and projectile in both, only the case and the primer changes.

Do you mind me asking what type of setup you have for this?

I was about to purchase the Lee Die Set for the .50 beowulf, but did not know what direction to go with on the press side.

For .45ACP I use a Dillon 1050, for everything else I use a Dillon 650.

Due to the rebated rim on the Beowulf cartridge you can't use the casefeeder, so it is a little slower feeding each case onto the shellplate by hand.

AFAIK, Lee is still the only Beowulf die maker.

its not bad cause you only bring it out and make things go boom every once in awhile throughout the day.. i have about 500 cases of s&w i need to reload still .. buy HSM stuff in bulk in the dry case from cabelas .. good price and they are pretty hot and fun and save the cases for reloading

Yea, I don't figure I'll pop off more than 5 rounds per range day, so it should last a while. And the HSM was my first choice, Cabela's was all out though!

Yea, I am going to get into reloading, just have to let the finds come together, can only afford so many toys ya know?!!
