    .45 ACP prices

Hey guys I am new to this forum and actually new to the gun world. I just bought a SIG P220R and am looking for some good prices on some ammo. I hear ammo bros is a decent place to shop and wal mart? What are the current prices of .45 acp ammo?

If you can find it for 30 cents a round it's a good deal. Wal-Mart sells Winchester for 29.99 a box of 100 but that is IF you can get your hands on it before the others.

    Where are you located?

What if you can get it for .13 cents per round? What should I do?

              Hello guys.
Today 4:30 call to WallMart in Semi-Valey, clerk told me they just received 20 boxes of 45 Winchester FMJ Target, 100 counts in box $29.97/box. I have asked to put 3 boxes on hold till 6:00 PM. Came there 5:30, there are left only 5 boxes-took all of them (btw nothing was on the hold ).
In 1 hour 15 boxes are gone, so I feel lucky I was able to get 5 (planed take just 3, but end with 5).
There are left 40 S&W about 10 boxes, and no 9mm at all. How long will last-who-knows.

Due to the shortage on ammo (and now some components) I decided to get back into reloading. Even with today's prices on components, my .45's cost .18 cents per round. Even though I have had all my reloading stuff for 30 years, I bought a Lee Pro1000 progressive loader from MidwayUSA at $140. All you would need in addition is a bullet puller and scale. Add an economical tumbler from Harbor freight and your done.
