Opinions on Wolf 45 ACP?

What are your thoughts on this round?

the first vote. I've tried a variety of 45ACP through my guns and i've never had any problems with wolf. alot of people claim wolf is "dirty"- it may be but no more so than any other lower end ammo. In my experience, wolf shoots cleaner than most of the PMC ammo i've tried. It's cheap (relatively) to shoot and has decent accuracy. Shoot it for yourself and see.

I bought a case of it and it shot inconsistantly. Pretty big groups at 25yds or more. I tried to shoot a couple of tactical matches with the stuff and it sucked. Now I load my own stuff.

Never used it, but if desperation called I probably would. I've always been scared of the steel casing stuff as I've heard it's rough on extractors....

I've said it before and I will say it again, Wolf is good stuff, it certainly isn't match grade but you get what you pay for and then some. I don't know about extractors but I can't imagine it would do any harm, its soft steel after all. My knee jerk reaction would be if a gun breaks extractors with steel cased ammo you need a better gun.

I shoot the crap out of Wolf ammo and have never had any issues.
Smells a little funny, but goes bang everytime.
Its not my first choice, but, like I said it goes bang.
