    Prvi Brass?

I want to start loading for the Swiss K31 rifle, but brass is not easy to find. I see that Graf's has both Norma and Prvi in stock. Has anyone used the Prvi? It is 1/3 the cost of the Norma......

PPU brass good to go... for plinking...

Norma are match-grade brass... totally not the same grade.... you are trying to compare a Ford with a Porsche... of course it would be 3x the price...

I have shot Prvi Partizan ammo and then reloaded the brass with no problem. It might not be the brass the benchrest folks use but it's fine for me.

            Thanks!

Thanks all. I'lll probably order some Prvi and see how it shoots. This is mostly for Swiss rifle matches (I've got some Swiss surplus, but don't want to shoot all that up practicing), something I'm getting started in when I'm not shooting highpower....

The Norma is about $1.25 per case.....

              Norma stuff is too expensive....

The TOP, most expensive brass for 308 is around 50-60c each.... Lapua brass... many TOP and big-match winning shooters will end there...

NOT $1.25 a piece unless you are going for exotic caliber...

                7.5 x 55 mm is a little more exotic than .308!

I too am using the Privi stuff in my K31, reloads fine. As an aside, I lucked out and got 100 rounds of Norma 7.62 x 54R a couple of years ago for about $.20 each, wish I had bought more -- it's nice brass. But no way would I pay $1.25 each, I simply don't shoot well enough to pay those kinds of prices!

Consider ordering a few boxes of Wolf Gold 7.5x55. It is the same brass as Prvi, and you get the added bonus of having loaded rounds to shoot right away.

                    FYI!

Winchester .284 brass can be reshaped to 7.5x55 swiss with just a Full length size and a case trim and depending on the deals can be quite cheaper then straight 7.5 brass.

PPU brass doesn't last as long as Winchester or S&B for my 7.62X54R, but for the price you can't beat it!
