    338LM load

So I am a little confused here....

Berger States COAL 3.650 with the 300gr max of 92gr of H1000 -----hodgons has a COAL of 3.600 with 85gr max
I will start with a lower charge obviously, but my mag is 3.850.

So just load to 3.650 or stretch it out a bit?

Load to your throat length minus about 0.020".
If that is longer than your magazine allows, load to what your magazine allows.

I think you used the wrong powder? Hodgdon is the same as Berger.

I noticed that, I put hodgons but meant Lyman.

Yeah I got a little confused by some of the drastic differences in load data for 338 LM... I have seemed to find a load for 250g which by the books is hot, but all other signs say otherwise. I wish I had time to be able to develop a 277g and 300g load.
