    It all makes sense now.

I bought an rcbs powder dispenser from a buddy because the lee dispenser I had was stiff and wouldnt throw consistant charges.

The rcbs unit is much better but I was still having problems with unique and 2400. After moths of dealing with this I jumped on the old interwebs and discovered they make a small drum (I had the large drum installed).

Hopefully this is the solution to my problems. It came today and I degreased and swapped the large for the small. Looking forward to loading up some .357 with unique.

Moral of the story is if something isnt working correctly there is usually an easy fix.

On a side note does anyone have any experience loading 160gr rn bayou bullets for .357? Ive loaded some in 38 special when I was thinking about loading for competition. I have 90 more of these bullets left and want to make some loads using unique.

    Have a great night!

I can say that the RCBS small drum is wonderful for the smaller charges. I can also say that I don't think anything will help with the pore metering characteristics of Unique. Can't speak on the 2400.

2400 isnt as bad as unique. .1 + or -. Win 231 is spot on every throw for me. Ball>extruded>flake.
