After my last batch of Lapua showed a dozen split necks on the second reload and firing and zero response from lapua and Berger (US lapua rep) I said screw it i'm done with Lapua.

Peterson makes top quality consistent brass, and you can actually talk to someone if theres and issue. Lapua may be good brass but when i had an issue and got no response, Yeah I'll stick with companies that give a damn.

Try Alpha Munitions brass. Peterson Brass is good stuff, but Alpha Munitions is comparable to Lapua in terms of consistency (case weight, length out of box, etc).

i've been using Peterson and Lapua for 308 & 338lm. From my experience, Lapua = consistency, Peterson = longevity

And out of the 1500 cases I've got on hand I can tell you Peterson is every bit as consistent as the rest of the top players.
