    Bullet Puller

Looking for a collet style bullet puller I have the hammer style but I want to pull 250+ .257 bullets looking for something faster and easier. I figure I'll be able to save all my components that way. Forester 1010 looks good but any other you would recommend.

I have RCBS and CH4D .50 cal collet pullers but, I still prefer to use hammer pullers on most bullets, but especially crimped ones.

I watched videos of both the Forster & RCBS I like the RCBS with the handle looks like i could be a little faster then the Forster having to use a wrench.
Edit: The one I looked at the Forster using the wrench was a coax model they have one like the RCBS.
        I’ll check out the Hornady

I'm not familiar with the Forster. Soi can't really comment on that. But the rcbs works well and it's a lot better than the hammer type.

I have the Hornady, simple to use, and fast.

Hands down, Hornady puller. It has a lever / handle that is easier to use than the RCBS / Forster type collet puller. I used the Forster puller for years and changed over to the Hornady.

I have the RCBS puller and it has been very good. Never had a problem with the handle and tightening it. Just about any of them will work is my observation.

I like my RCBS collet puller. No experience with others than hammer type.

                    For rifle ammo, Hornady.

For pistol, the RCBS impact puller works but using that for rifle ammo didn't work out for me - snapped the neck. But since it's RCBS, got my replacement.

I've been using the Hornady puller for years on rifle cartridges, and love it. But I also use the impact puller if I only have one or two to do.
