I had some 308 too.

Get some cheaper stuff and a bullet puller. New powder and projectile. Not easy to reload Berdan.

I tied several years ago to find berdan primers for 7.62/54r They are larger than what is in the 763/39 round. I did find the smaller one that fit the AK round. If you know how to decap it's not that hard.

Slug your bore with those old guns. They can range from .306 to about .317.

Which conversion are you using? Seen different ways.

I just use a drill press, 2 different drill bits, and a round cylinder that holds the brass straight for drilling. It's time consuming, but it's fun to do when these brass are either expensive or hard to find.

I need the brass for my own reload, so you can either donate, or sell. I don't know what to trade for, so I didn't say it.
