AR 15 kits ?

Was going to order a AR 15 kit they have 2 options chamber for 5.56 Nato or .223 remington.

Thought you could use either one for either round

223 can not shoot 5.56. 5.56 can shoot both. get a 5.56 nato chamber. 5.56 operates at a higher pressure and the cases are often thicker as well. some other guys will have some more detailed info.

I think it would be more accurate to say "223 should not shoot 5.56". They'll fit, but like you said, they run at higher pressures.

At least, that's how I understand it.
