    Wolf reloads???

Anybody have experience shooting Wolf reloads in .223 or .40s&w? I found them at a pretty good price, and I want to make sure there are no known problems there.

They're the black shells ready to buy reloads in a box. I guess Wolf sells them in bulk reloads. They're .62gr. Just wondering if anyone has shot them, and if there are any problems with them.

Pretty sure wolf doesn't reload their ammo. Someone else might, its good brass with the Wolf Gold stuff but if the shells are black that sounds like steel which you can reload but I don't know of anyone who does. If it isn't reloaded ammo then factory steel case Wolf ammo is good stuff, not the best but you get what you pay for and then some.

Yup, that's correct. I talked to the distributor. The black shells are steel, and not reloads. They say they'll do the job fine as target ammo.

WTF with the prices on ammo lately? It's outta' hand already! Something I don't know here?

do they look like these... http://www.wideners.com/itemdetail.c...ir=18|830|852?

If it does, it should be more then adequate. I don't have any experience for the calibers you mentioned, but for 7.62x39 they are pretty good!

The wolf gold brass is very soft in my experiance. Im iffy on reloading the cases my friend gave me. Think im gonna have to trim them too much and they will have a short lifetime.

Maybe my sarcasm meter is broken this early in the morning, but ALL things firearms related have gone through the roof since Obama was elected.

That said, Wolf with the steel case, either the black box, or military classic are fine for blasting ammo, but neither are something I would use to try shooting the smallest groups possible. For that, something like the heavier 68, 69, 77gr Black Hills ammo or handloads are the way to go.
