    Loader/press identification help

Someone is selling a loader, and I was wondering if anyone could ID it for me, and perhaps a fair price? I dont know anything about them, and they said there's no brand on it, so I dont really know how to research it.

It looks like some kind of shot shell reloading press, but some parts are missing.

What are you going to do with it? It's too lite to be a decent anchor.

It is for shot shells .
Trying to find parts is going to turn into a hobby .
To me , I would only take for free and then just for parts to give away .
If you do shot shells , take to range when you shoot .
          Put a sign - Name ? model # ? It would be a conversation starter .

Shotgun shell reloading press. Missing parts. No value in it's current condition.

Anyone with common sense can see that thing is junk.
Especially when the OP has no clue to what it is.
Don't need to ask the wife about it.

It is an old school shotgun reloading press. In its current shape it is dust collector. It is rebuildable if you want to find current parts (other manufactures) that can be modified to fit it. Some just like the challenge. I wouldn't pay more than $5.00 for this.

It's missing the two plastic bottles from what I can see from your picture.
They run $8 for the small and $15 for the large or you can make your own as was common practice a few years back.
The steel powder kegs works well for shot but you want something clear for the powder because you need to know when your running low
I don't see all the missing parts everyone is talking about but I'm on my cellphone.

OP, if you are in So Cal and looking to fix up an old 12ga press I can give you a Mec. Easier to find parts for.

Using an Old-School Reloading machine can be a lot of fun.

But sometimes using old equipment that you are not familiar that isn't complete can be a non economical headache. Sometimes Reloading is a PITA when all the machines are working properly.

Using old & unfamiliar equipment for an experienced Reloading is one thing. Try to get the machine working and Reload properly can be a double challenge.
