    Is this legit ?

I'm in process of cleaning things out . basically I wanted to donate reloads that I've made as parts only . I remembered reading a similar thread about this , but was not able to locate ..

If I make a donation thread clearly indicating takers will not sell and only use this as parts only , is it okay to meet them ftf without ffl being involved ?

I haven't read the law lately but I'd be concerned about how a "donation" might look in the eyes of the CA DOJ unless the rounds are disassembled first.

The relevant language starts at the bottom of page 14.

you are donating reloads. which if used as ammo is illegal.

Under state law it's even worse. and you are going on the faith that the calgunner the takes this stuff off your hands is trust worthy enough to keep you out of jail?? You like to live dangerously don't you.

Break the ammo down your self, recycle the powder and sell off the parts. if you find it's not worth it to break down then all you can do is give it to someone that will shoot it in your presence.

yes it can back fire on you and if you had to ask you should really rethink how you live you life.
