    257 Roberts Load Data?

Just picked up my first Bob from LGS yesterday. I've got the supplies to start building rounds, but I can't find the data I need

Specifically, Hornady 110 grain ELD-X data. My Hornady 10th edition doesn't list it and v3.9 of QuickLoad doesn't show that bullet.

And what makes you think "that bullet" matters? Pick any 110 gr load other than lead cast and start working up. It's not that hard guys.

I checked lyman 49th edition and Hornady and they list a 100 grain and a 117 grain. No luck on a 110 grain. Why don't you try the Hornady website.

Nothing for 110 listed in the 45th addition or hornady 7th...

I would look at 100 and 117 data split the difference and WORK UP a load using 4064...

I have lots of data for the 257R but nothing with that bullet. I have better choices for hunting. Taken everything form pigs to deer and monkeys to Kudu with it.
Maybe contact Hornady directly for data if you really like the bullet.

Or do the same with H4350 or imr 4350 i'm seeing a max of 43.5 gr for both of those powders at 2900 fps. start 2gr off of max and work up.

All this confusion the new reloading manuals puts out by showing individual data for each bullet. Nosler, Speer, Sierra, all list their load data by grouping bullet weight. A minor variance in engagement area is not going to mean a damn thing.

Manuals are just guide and will not reflect an exact recipe and exact results. Not to mention Hornady is the worst because they discontinue bullets all the time and drop them from the manual. Again another reason to just pick a 110gr load and go for it. you have to start low and work up anyway.

In the Hornady #8 book, they mention using load data for the 117gr bullet for the 110 Interbond. I agree with what kcstott said. Split the difference and work up. H4350 and H4831 look promising.

I have a book that I don't see among my reloading friends, thought I'd share it with y'all

High Power Rifle Accuracy "Before you Shoot" by Douglas E. Arnold. Library of Congress number: 2005902515

I started reloading in 1980, it sure would have been nice to have this book back then, this book was published in 2006. It has plenty of load data but it is 12 years out of current time-frame, but the old data books are worth plenty just for the knowledge
