American reload short order

Ive purchased alot from American reloading. Ordered a small batch of 1k 223s. Orders have been hit and miss, some have been over, some a few short. Usually if its short its not by much. Maybe 20 or so per 1k.
This time I knew my bag was short because it was about the size of the 500 peice orders. Counted to 712 [emoji34]. Called and they said I would get 300 shipped.
Well... They shipped my other order, included my 62s that were short 25, 9s and 40s x 500 but no 223s. What the heck? Called left message today and emailed. Argh ok venting done.
Guess they lost a good customer. Btw ive had 40 orders from them.

I've never bothered to count any of my orders from them and, I even have a parts scale that would do it easily.....Out of curiosity I just checked and I only have 25 orders on record but know that I ordered a couple times prior to setting up an account. Anyway, I only order when it's such a good deal that +/- a few rounds isn't going to be an issue for me.

In defense of AR, 95% of my orders projos look great. Some had bad pull marks but my guns shoot better than I do.
They carry some items not many have in stock. I.e. hst, gold dots, hydrashok to name a few.

I can feel When my orders are a bit short. Doesnt matter if 10% or so short. But when I'm almost 300 short on a 1000 order I have a issue.
Yes I count, I use old ammo boxes with the plastic egg crates to count. Doesnt take much time to dump them in trays. No I dont individually count them [emoji2]

Well I finally got through today after a few attempts. Guess they had to process some to fulfill my 300. Got confirmation they sent them today.

I bought 10k of the 155/165/180 - 40's some time back and did my sort.. they came out about 80% 180, 15% 165, and 5% 155.. and my count came up 9600 and change.. they shipped another 500 to me to make it right.

They've had some great deals over the years.. I think they know that forums can sink their business model.. There have been other examples made. (Jack Ross ammo for instance).

I remember a few years ago, they were so cheap I wondered how they could stay in business. I wish I bought more back then. Prices were so low.
Deals today are not as good as years gone by but still have some great sales.
All in all they have been good. Its just strange that my 1k was 300 short. And yes they will be sending the short order.

On average? 1500 9 or 40s under 100 shipped. These we hst. .40/180. 9/147. All looked good.
1k 55 grain 54.00.
1k 62 grain mk318 63.00 shipped.
Prices are not that bad? Shipping has been quick. Usually a week or less.
Yes I will still buy from them. Still seem pretty competitive pricing.

Lol, I bet it would be an issue for them if you only paid for 999 rounds of your 1000 round order.
