I am not sure why you would want "non-lethal" ammo -- If the situation warrants shooting, I want the job done right -- To be perhaps somewhat harsh, the dead usually can't testify against you in court --

the laws for illegal ammo are pretty much no tracer and no pistol AP besides that .. I am pretty sure that you are good...
According to this CDC document the firearms related death rate has been surpassed by the poisoning death rate.

Time for an assault drain-cleaner ban?

But the deceadent's family can/will sue you for wrongful death, something that costs alot more than a lawsuit for battery.

Want some less lethal rounds? For some reason, back in the days, I was bored so I loaded up a 12GA with 28gr Airsoft BB's, I think I got 15 bb's in the shell. They shot pretty good pattern at 10 yards, it did reach out to about 40 yards, then I molded some hot glue in the size of paintballs, you can fit one, it shot well but I dont know the damage...it might just sting them.. LOL, both rounds are not good for "less-lethal" but deffienatly their less-lethal. I actually did it for practice for cowboy shooting at home when I wouldnt go to the range.
