    w00t! 1st reloads done

Just bought me a simple set up for now, it seems I like reloading already and I am already on the lookout for a progressive set up. I bought if off of Alucard for $200 FTF, items that came with the purchase: Lee Hand Press, .45 Auto Die Set, Lee Auto Prime, Lee Scale, Bulleseye 1 lb powder, 1k winchester primers, 10X 50 round containers,1 Blue Tray holds 50 seperated, bullet puller, and calipers.

I know, I know I wanted to see how it was to load. Now that I have done it and it was not that confusing or hard to do I am hooked. I am going out tomorrow to test out my reloads

Oh yeah only did 84 for the time being, I have another 100 cases. Just wanted to make sure they went boom and down range okay first

Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

Congrats, it's the first shot that is the most exciting but I did my first batch conservatively until I can do some chronoing....

Well I shot all of my reloads today First one was such a rush just knowing it actually fired and it did not go kaboom! So I am happy with how things turned out, not sure if I should change anyhting up. Just going to try and do another 100 or so and see how those do. I shot at the 20 yard line today, and I was able to get consistant Center Mass Shots

What? No pics? for the NOOB reloaders, you should post pics of your setup, reloads, and targets. this way we can see how you're doing.

by the way, Great job !

Sorry no pics of the targets from today. I was shooting at the 20 yard line today, moreso for my AR-22 then my Kimber. I will do another range session soon where I will do 10 and 20 yard shots to show what kind of groupipng I can do with her and my reloads. I did another 200 reloads today, with the help of my brother

Hope this helps. Like I told my brother today when we were reloading together. So easy a caveman can do it

Any idea how much the cost per round is, not counting the reloading equipment?

Well I did not buy the powder, primers and bullets myself I bought them as a set from the seller. I looked online for those parts and simple cost that I rounded up a little to count in for s&h too. On the cheap side it is costing $0.15 a round, to possibly $0.18 depending on local prices and crazy arse handling fees for shipping primers and powder Compare that to buying Value Packs at $0.33 a round from Wal-Mart

just a word of caution, wear gloves when handling the lead bullets, wash your hands after your reloading session, and don't eat or drink without washing your hands either.

Lead poisoning (lead dust) is a dangerous thing.

                            anyways.

                            Thanks for the pics
