all their bullets are not pure copper that's why they stick and that's why the tare your rifling. There is no steal shank in them like M855 it's just not pure copper, they do sale a version of it that is but cost allot more.

I would stick to Winchester white box

I personally wound not shoot WOLF through any of my guns exept AK/SAIGA/SKS they are made for that crap.

The 9 and .45 are both bimetal (I only have the 9 and 45 layin' around)

lots of people like to whine about the ammo but it is functional and reasonably accurate (better than WWB in my experience) The steels used in the case are softer than the nickel plated cases that some find attractive (though they will allow more blow-by so you can get chamber sticking) and The cases are more reliable than blazer cases (I've never seen a catastrophic wolf case failure and I reload the buggers... can't say that for those aluminum cases)

I have never seen or even heard of a bullet tearing rifling... Increased wear maybe but in a pistol load does that even matter? pistol barrels are good for tens or even hundreds of thousands of rounds to begin with
According to this CDC document the firearms related death rate has been surpassed by the poisoning death rate.

I've shot a lot of Wolf ammo in my .45 and 9mm. Have done so for years.

It's cheap. It goes "bang" and I've had no problems with sticking, case separating or anything.

Wolf pistol ammo is good stuff. Took it out and shot both a 9mm and 45acp with it and I know what those guns can do. Wolf was as good as anything else I have shot, maybe a bit of a larger group than I am used to but I was probably having one of those days. The bi-metallic bullet construction is not going to hurt your barrel, it is copper coated and I doubt the rifling even touches the steel, even if it does it is very soft steel so I wouldn't bother. I have shot thousands of bi-metallic 30-06 through my M-1 without any problems, both USGI and Greek surplus. If it is good enough for NATO, its probably just fine for me.

thanks for writing in guys. i was reading a magazine that did a review on the hk p30 and the ammo that grouped the best was the wolf. and usually the gun mags to use wolf so i thought that was pretty interesting.

the bimetal and barrel wear issue isn't a big deal to me. it's the bimetal and range friendly issue i'm worried bout. some local ranges say no wolf because they want your brass and some just have a no magnetic rule. thought i'd try some out but if it's all bimetal then i guess not.

I bought a bunch of 9mm Wolf to shoot in my Glock. This was at least five years ago. I am pretty sure it was not brass cased.

I had a few split cases that caused jams, I quit shooting it after a case split that jammed so bad, the onsite gunsmith had to put it in a vise and use a rubber hammer to get it to eject. The gun was not damaged.

It was also the dirtiest ammo I have ever shot. I hear there long gun ammo is pretty good.
