I envy you. I am just starting also. Have been preping, inspecting, cleaning brass for a week. The other people that live in my house are getting tired of hearing that tumbler running all day.

I am able to load 300 rounds in about 4 hours.
I am not sure why people think it takes so long.
This is with a single press digital and powder dispenser.
Actually for 55gr FMJ I just use a lever dispenser and check weight every 15 or so.

Get a friend to help you could knock them out in no time

the progressive press people will come and say, i can do that in 20 minutes!

i have a single stage lee, im only loading match ammo though, ill goto my friends dillion for bulk 223/5.56

It's not the 1st-1st batch - I goofed on the powder load on that and had to fix ~40 bullets - I feel confident this batch is OK.

You just need to get a bigger tumbler and media separator!

The winchester 55 gr fmjbt really are the worst bullets I bought. They are very inconsistent in weight. Hope you have better luck with them!! Congrats on the 300 rounds!

I saw that case gage in the reloading photo. Did you re-check the ammo for headspace tolerances?

Yes - checked with micrometer.

I've checked several bullets with my scale - all I weighed are spot on 55 grains.
