H4895 Load Data Confused

Got a batch of 55gr M193 bullets. Searched Hodgdon website for load data and found the following:

55 GR. SPR SP: Start load: 25.0 gr | Max Load: 26.0 gr

55 GR. BAR TSX FB: Start load: 21.0 gr | Max load: 22.6 gr

55 GR. SFIRE: Start load: 22.0 gr | Max load: 24.6C gr

I have a few questions:

Which of these data should I use for the M193 bullet?

What does the "C" mean after the 24.6 for the SFIRE load data?

"C" means compressed

Use the SP data. The other bullet is solid copper and a lot longer and requires a reduction in powder.

I also read that it is safe to reload 60% of H4895's max load. So I figure loading 18-20 gr should be fine?

Depends if you load for a bolt or gas gun.

FWIW have at least two reloading manuals and also check the IMR/Hodgdon reloading site for comparison.

For an AR15. I read people reduced their loads down to 18 gr and it will still cycle in an AR15. Recoil is almost nonexistent. Kinda like shooting a 22lr.

There is hardly any recoil from a 55grain bullet with 25 grains of H4895

Some reloading books gives you gas gun reloads. I'll bet those bullets will be in that section.
