I've heard the Dillon doesn't work right on shotgun hulls (it's a $1000 gamble and I've seen too many negative posts about them). For the money difference, I'm planning to just get a MEC product. Maybe even a 600 Jr since I'm only doing 28 ga. Couple of hundred bucks plus components.

That Spolar is pimp, but promo pack 12 ga prices don't justify that kind of investment and I mostly only shoot trap anyhow.

for the price lee load all.cranks out 100 per hour.just get a decent scale as the charge bushing list is not that accurate.
Lee Precision, the nation's number one manufacturer of reloading equipment for over 50 years presents its full inventory of quality products.

I dunno, I've never been much for guns. I mean, sure, we have the usual gun by the door, another near the TV, one in the kitchen, and another in the bedroom...and several others laying around. For the most part though, we keep our home free of guns. We are peace loving folks.

Find a used PONSNESS-WARREN on ebay. Built much better than Mec or Lee.

                Robert,

Do you have one of these? Do you like it? Does it jam up and cause problems very often?

I've seen them for about $40 before and have often been tempted to pick one up, but then I figure I'll just be throwing $40 away by doing that. Some Lee stuff seems to work just fine, other stuff seems to be a waste.

I don't shoot shotguns THAT often and mostly field loads so the price of ammo hasn't put me off yet, but I'd like to be self sufficient for those too.

Yes I just got one used from another cal gunner on friday. I have loaded around 250 shells with # 7.5 and 6 shot. I have to tell you for the price it cant be beat. I dont shoot alot of shotgun so the 800 to a 1000 rounds I'm going to load up will last for several years. then I'll just put the press away so it dosent take up bench space. the priming system sucks but everything else works great. able to do around 100 shells in just over an hour.Plus you can load shells with your own projectiles that alone is worth the price. only draw back I see is you cant do 3 1/2 mag shells. I was planning on getting a mec latter but dont think I have the need to now. for the $42 dollars a new lee press cost I'ts worth it they seem to last for ever. and it comes with a ton of powder bushings. but you really need a scale to double check there printed specs.

It definitelly works better than the lee turret press I had that thing sucked

It is made of plastic and not very sturdy plastic. Looks like it came from Toys R Us. Some one gave me one, it's garbage.

You could buy a decent used press for not much more and have it last forever.

And this is about what I expect for Lee reviews. Some people love them and some people hate them. Usually both camps have valid positions.

I've got enough irons in the fire right now and don't really need to start loading for shotguns too, but I'll keep an eye out for a used shotgun press. I may have to check out one of these Load Alls the next time I see a good deal on a used one.

If history is any indicator, I'll probably jump into the fray about the time demand for shotgun primers catches up with rifle and pistol primers.

You can have a look at the one I was given for free.

My son's Lego's are better built and stronger than that press.

                            Lego's... LOL.

Truth be told, I built some pretty strong forts with my lego's years ago.

I'll give you a shout if I'm up Sonoma way anytime soon. Maybe I'll offer to buy it off you if I think I can use it.
