I had good luck with 147gr and 231 and bullseye. I was 3.2 with bullseye and 147gr. Never chronoed but functioned in several 1911.

Fast powder and heavy bullets work great for 9mm.

Update, I picked up some 124s at Reload OC. I told him that I was thinking of trying out a new powder and he said to try some CFE Pistol so I got that also. Loaded up 300 rounds of varying powder amounts and headed to the desert. They seemed to work good in my gun and also seemed a little more accurate. I still had some 115s loaded and shot those that same day for comparison. Not sure if I noticed a change in recoil. Will need to do a little more testing to see witch powder amount I will stick with.

Thanks again for all the replies.

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.

Exactly Right, you can make major with a 9MM, but why? Go with a .40, or better yet go with a .45.
