frangibles - how hard

How hard do they have to hit ?
Can I use as snake rounds ? Will they just tumble ?

How hard do they have to hit what? What caliber(s) are you asking about? I've shot a bit of 5.56 and 9MM / 40 cal. frangible. They are accurate close range and will kill you. I shot factory ammo, not reloads. WE shot them in kill houses and at steel targets at very close range.

With out a doubt, they will kill a snake.

Snake shot will usually not cycle the next round in semi-autos, so this might work... or you could use fmj, plated, lead, or even frangables.

Doesn't take very much. If you over crimp them during reloading they will crack.

Thanks , I would be using as snake rounds .
Right now I have a 32 ACP and 45 ACP IN Mexico . Last year I
loaded up the last of the shotshell bullets / pills [ ? ] there and can
not find anyone who sells them anymore .
I only have about 8 of the 25 ACP left here [ SF bay area ]
That is not really a big deal since I can buy 22 LR and 9 mm shotshells
over the counter , but would still rather carry the 25 and 380 ACP's while
hiking . Right now the nephews and nieces are just barking with them .
You are right about the guns not cycling at least on the 9's and 45's .
The bad thing is the 1st round in magazine is a shotshell and sometime
nephews and nieces forget to remove at range

I have not used these, but have used the 223 version with great results. They turn to dust, about the size of beach sand or smaller.
