RFC: Brass Processing and Reloader Rental

    Request for Comment:
As I saw someone from another state is offering brass processing, I was thinking about offering the service locally, so you can save shipping. I am in San Francisco. I could decap, size, trim, and swag for $35 per 1k. Price is low because I have time on my hand. I could do both .223 and .308.

I was also thinking about renting time on my dillon. I have a loaded XL650 setup to do .223, .308, 6.8, and .45. I was thinking about charging $15 an hour if you have loaded before. $25 an hour if you need my help. You should be able to do 1000 in less than 2.5 hours.

This way people wouldn't have to buy a machine. And with renting time you are still saving a lot of money compared to buying factory ammo.

Let me know what you guys think and if its a go I will start offering the service and rental.

If you were local to me, I'd use you. Even at $25 an hour, having someone near by who has more experience would be worth it to me.

The going price for $1k is $20. If you have a Dillon 1050, doing 1k is like no time....

I am local and would like to learn how to reload so that I will know if I want to buy a Reloader or not. I will get in contact with you soon, I only have like 100 or so .223 and .45 casings atm maybe a little more. But I think that would be a great learning experience and what not.

I wish your service was available when I first started reloading! Many brass was sacrificed during the learning process...
