Hey everyone,
Took m XD 40 tactical to the range on Monday and shot about 150 Blazer brass, no failures.
Shot Aguila brass today and had failures to feed almost every mag. They would always be the same, the nose of the round would be stuck at the bottom of the feed ramp, (basically the round was parallel to the frame instead of facing upward like it should be). I then shot 50 rounds of PMC, flawless. What is it about the Aguila that could be causing this?
I ruled out mags, because these are the same ones I used with my blazer and PMC and they BOTH had failures wiht the aguila.
I ruled out the flashlight attached to it, because it would fail with and without the light. Plus I had the light attached when I used the blazer/PMC and it fed fine.
I ruled out limp wristing because, I shoot with the same grip for both my trip with the blazers and my trip with the aguila.
Any intput appreciated! I posted here because its a question about a specific type of ammo.
