Haven't bought commercial lube in a couple of years. Came across a very effective and very cheap solution.
Been using pure lanolin and 99% isopropyl alcohol mixed in a ratio of 10%/90%. Any drug store or on-line sells the stuff. Put that in a little spray bottle. Mixing a cup or 2 at a time will last many hundreds of cases.

A couple of squirts into a (clean) plastic container holding 50-100 cases at a time does the trick. Everything is lubed in 10 seconds and no hand muss.

Just rattle them around and let it sit for 2-3 minutes to evaporate off the carrier(alcohol). Cases stay lubed for days as the lanolin does not evaporate off and no worry about globs that can dent a case or missed spots.
Plus the lanolin makes your hands smooth! It actually works really well, no mess with a very even lube distribution.

Google DIY case lube to see the reviews.
If there is a down side maybe someone can educate me.

I've played with some of those spray on sizing lubes, and none seem to work as well as Unique, or Imperil sizing wax/lube, in my opinion. You might be surprised how easy it is to size your brass, and extract it from your die.

What brass are you using LC FC ? some of it I have run into is so damn difficult to size I worried about damaging my press never mind me, I pulled a muscle in my back once or twice just to avoid wasting money on a deal on some brass I should of tossed instead, I use Unique lube only no spraying just a quick roll in the fingers and done, on large batches in a plastic shoe box I put on a pair of latex or? gloves cover the gloves well with the Unique lube and then run my hands through the brass squeezing tumbling.

Yep. I switched to lanolin. Stuff works great. No more imperial for me.

I size them wet. By the time I'm done with the batch, the alcohol has flashed off. Stuff is amazing.

Lotta folks make their own (I don't). A downside would be flammability. That would depend on what you have going on around the bench/storage.

Still should get a bit in the case mouth.

                This times a hundred.
Imperial Sizing Die Wax is the stuff all others are judged by and the spray on lubes just don't seem to work well.
You think sizing 308 is tough try some 50 BMG brass and you will never use anything but Imperial Sizing Die Wax again.

That is me . To many people reload here at my house and while everything is grounded and I have anti static carpet [ I got before I retired - they were redoing a clean room ] it is old and sometimes
there is a static spark [ people coming and going - garage door
                  opening - etc .
I tried rubbing alcohol - too much water - did not thin lanolin -
                  dented cases . Found 90 , 91 and 92 % alcohol - they kind of
worked , but my wife kept taking for her finger nails . That and stopping to make a new batch and the smell - easier to just buy .
Did not like imperial , one shot and a few others .
Right now I am using RCBS

Automatic transmission fluid and STP mixed 50-50 works better than lanolin but it is also messier.

Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.

Hadn't heard of STP/ATF before...but it is made to stay put and lubricate under pressure so it makes sense.

Nice to know I have options in the garage if the bug to do some cases hits on a cold winter day (it's 26F now dropping to 12F tonight) and my regular dope is in low supply.
