Post your Bulk bullet load data.

I'm hoping to help those like me. I buy, xtreme, precision delta and other bullets. 115 RN, 124 rn and fp. As u search for load data, I go through the Hornady 9th edition, modern reloading second edition, Lyman pistol third edition, and Lyman 50th edition. But can't find data for xtreme 124gr fp. 9mm being so popular, i was hoping people could post their load data for these, I'll call them off rounds. I have been away from reloading after many years of it, so have to start my loads from scratch. I also know others are asking about these. If doesn't have to be the xtreme 124gr fp, could be another xtreme, bullet type, or one of the many brands that lack data, but that you have good luck with. Thanks.

You don't need to have data on your specific model of bullet. all you need is bullet type. Is it jacketed, plated, or Lead? then you need to look at bullet weight. Thats it. Pick a powder an go for it. make sure your rounds are seated deep enough that they don't protrude from the cylinder or the nose rubs the mag as loading whichever the case may be.

I can tell you all day long load any 9mm bullet you like with 4.5 grains of Unique and be done from 90 grain to 147

Reloading manuals used to be put out by bullet manufacturers and powder manufacturers. But we have always had independent bullet makers. So what then? We can't load because we don't have data for a low pressure pistol cartridge using the specific bullet we want to use? "OMG let the reloading bench grind to a screeching halt we can't do that I don't have specific data".

It's not the serious just pick you powder, pick your bullet weight and load them go have fun and quit over thinking this stuff.

For plinking pistol ammo, I've found that just using the mid-level charge for plated is sufficient. Doesn't matter if it's round nose, flat, whatever. 124 grain is 124 grain, doesn't matter if it's Berry's or Rocky Mountain. But then again my goal is reliability in a broad range of guns, not going for velocity or accuracy.

All you would have to do is call xtreme bullets and ask them.

They recommend using data from Speer #14.

If you don't have Speer #14, mid range lead data is an easy place to start and work up from there.

Several articles on line with tips on loading plated bullets from Berry’s, Rainier and Xtreme.
Well thats just flat wrong. How the hell am I going to get a 1911 to cycle at 450 FPS? Or a 9mm at 500 FPS? Half the velocity?? Can't be driven to the same speeds? Wrong again.

Rule of thumb is a non gas checked lead pistol bullet needs to be sub sonic. Same for a rifle bullet but you can push them a touch harder. but in nearly all cases 1100 FPS is the limit for lead. That of course is excluding Black powder cartridge rifle which can push a lead non gas checked bullet to 2000 FPS with no issues.

4.1 gr. W231 with Xtreme plated 124gr. I've used more and less and settled on 4.1 for no particular reason. Runs my Beretta 92S fine.

Generally speaking, data for any same weight cast or plated bullet should be fine for any other.

3.2 grains of Titegroup under an Extreme 147 grain bullet makes power factor.
