    Reloading Crash Cart!

Finally got my "Crash Cart" finished. I've had the presses on it for a while, but needed to stiffen up the top a little.

Due to restricted work and storage space in my garage, I decided to try mounting my reloaders on a roll away tool chest. I started with the Square Deal B with a home made mount. That worked, so I added the Hornady Lock-N-Load Progressive on the back side.
The SDB worked fine from the start, the Hornady needed a little modification to my mounting rails to stiffen the top, but it seems to work well too. The box holds a LOT of tools and supplies. Right now I could put it in my truck as is and go load 9mm, .38 spcl., .357 Mag., .308, and .223 anywhere - well, I do need to find some small rifle primers for the .223. Actually, going places wasn't the idea, just easy to store and deploy in my garage.

Cool, nice job. I wish mine looked that good.

I put my Pro2000, Ammomaster2 and a 550 on a rolling butcher block table. Then I took off the 550 and replaced it with a HF vice.

I was recently given a MEC 12 Gauge press. It's getting a little crowded on top.

You should fill up the bottom of the box with bags of lead shot or your bullet inventory as well as the usual tools and stuff to really weight it down solid.

Pretty Slick!!! I like it. If I was building a loading bench to be mobile and have a small(ish) foot print, I would copy your design to be sure.

When setting up my reloading bench, I got a desk off craigslist (FREE). I put casters (with wheel locks) on the bottom so it's mobile in a pinch. It has a center drawer that I can keep my micrometer, tools, primer tubes, etc. in, and large drawers on either side for powder, primers, tool heads, spare parts, ammo boxes, etc...

It also has a huge level workspace (when I keep my load books, balistics binder and other crap off it), so I've got plenty of room to work on other stuff. I've since mounted a Lee Classic Cast Turret Press on one end of the bench that I can use for cast bullet sizing and single stage case prep steps (deprime, sizing before trimming, bullet pulling, etc...). Eventually, I'll be mounting a gun vice on the other side for cleaning and smithing.

Back on point of the OP though... Great idea.

It gets pretty heavy with a couple of drawers filled with bullets. When full with the machines and all the tools and stuff it is pretty stable.

Nice Job!! That system looks like you can use it on a regular bench too. You saved 62 bucks from not buying the strong mount from Dillon that does the same thing by raising the press for clearance....

Unistrut or equivalent. Ain't nuthin I can't build if I've got Unistrut, zip ties, and duct tape.

The bottom rails and the SDB stand are made from 28mm square aluminum extrusion that uses T-slots and T-nuts for fastening, along with some triangle side plates. I had salvaged it from a machine I had reconfigured. Used to use it alot to make prototype machine frames and machine safeguarding enclosures. The Hornady press is mounted to the rails with a couple of pieces of aluminum angle with a 1/2" flat bar bolted to them. The rails are mounted to the top of the chest with 6 6mm bolts, T-nuts and fender washers. That stuff is amazingly rigid when bolted together correctly.

You forgot WD-40 in case it is supposed to move and doesn't.
