    223 Brass

I just came to San Diego for a training for MOnday and Tuesday. I have brouhgt a little over 1/2 of 5 gallon bucket of once fired mostly R-P 223 brass, maybe 2-3,000 rounds. If any of you want some for FREE, let me know. I am staying at Four Point Sheraton Hotel on 8100 block Aero Drive and will be checking out on Tuesday morning.

Maybe it is a good chance for me to meet USN Chief and talk about things. Anyways, send me a PM and maybe I can meet some San Diego Calgunners. I don't come down here much.

Maybe that is a thought. But what would I do with Varget? I don't use them.

        Topgun,
If no one else has spoken up for any of the brass yet. I'm in for some. I can run out there later tomorrow (Monday) and we can grab dinner.

Topgun7, I had my buddy pick up the Wolf LR primers from you at Oak Tree......if you have any on your way back home, I'd appreciate what you could spare.

              Thanks!

Heck, I thought I would be slow. There was an hour + time lag.

I guess time & place is up to Topgun. I'm good from 1600 on. I figure with you being an MA your work hours are "flexible" . . .

I'll let you know the time & place if your still interested. Or if you can't make it, I can get the brass from Topgun & we can work out a time in the future to drop off / pickup.

I will be out of the class some time between 1600-1700 hrs. After that I am free, and driving a company car with company gas card. Anywhere is fine for me.

And, SVRider, no worries. I have some more at home. I will get you some if you need some.

Your IMR 4895 .223/69 SMK load, is it for a bolt or gas gun?

I used it for a bolt gun. I had a Shilen barrel 1-9" twist barrel. I set the bullet .005" from the rifleing and it showed an excellent accuracy. I think IMR 4895 works good with heavier bullets, ie 69 + grains. I tried Win 748 and 760 also along with Vihtavuori powders. IMR with Fed 205M did me good.

I wouldn't say that too loud. The items I give out free are the ones I received free. I make enough(?) money working my job. I don't have to sell the stuffs I receive for free. Unless of course I bought them. I am just glad I could help some people in need.
